I want to thank all of you who sent me email re: my grandfather's passing. I tried to answer all of your emails, but in case I did miss someone I do want to say that I am very grateful to all of you. It was heartwarming to hear from so many people! Again, thank you! |

May 24~30 – Normally, this is a time of year I take off for a little vacation and put a whole slew of files online to cover the time I'm gone. Tonight (the 23rd), I received word that my last living grandfather had died. While the death was not unexpected (he was in his 90s and in failing health), I must admit that I cannot muster up the inspiration to put together an interesting and humorous collection of files right now. So please dig through the archives if you've not done so as I'm sure you'll find some fun things to tide you over till I return on the 30th. —Hunter |

May 14 – In Memoriam, Douglas Adams. As one can find very little audio of his hilarious series The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, I'll be doing clips of it all week. In deference to the original version (which was a radio drama) these clips will be from the 3-record set of specially re-recorded audio. Note that some of the cast are different here than in the television version. If you have not read the book series, I highly urge you to so, it's one of the funniest reads out there.
